Lunchboxes

Our kids are always growing both physically and mentally and it is important that there is a healthy mix for their lunchbox.

If you have made a nutritious dinner the night before, add the leftovers in to their lunchbox. A lot of families put most of their effort into cooking dinner however we often find it hard during the day to prepare what is needed.

Cutting up a variety of vegetables, fruit and cheese on Sunday or Monday to have on hand, and perhaps boiling some eggs, will make all the difference for your family’s week! This could be the difference between your child eating a pie at school or having some great healthy food options to eat from their lunchbox (and if you have a child with sensory issues cut more of what they like to eat so you have that handy as well).

This works for parents too!  Take the same things to your workplace to snack on and you will find that you not only eat better, youll feel better and your bank balance will be better off too.

We want to help your family thrive, so all your feedback helps us!
