Coconut water has properties that can aid in the regulation of blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. It can also aid digestion as well.
When our kids are playing sport in the hot sun they alternate drinking coconut water with water to keep hydrated, as it is a better option than sports drinks. You can also make some smashing ice-blocks with it – just add fruit and maybe sneak a little spinach or kale in there too, blend it up and freeze!
