Sprinklers that just attach to your typical garden hose are a great option for family fun! Not only do they water your plants, they can create hours of fun for the family. Your family can hang out playing under them in the backyard on a hot day, or you can play water limbo, sprinkler landmine or any other game that takes your fancy.

Sprinklers are also inexpensive and can be bought from any hardware store (Bunnings often has a great range of them available).
